Fra kongegrav til kiste.

• Jeg leste om våre aner på Hønsø og Søndre Sundane med stor interesse. Dette var navn jeg hadde sett i Tjømø-boka allerede som liten.
• Jeg visste at tante Margrethe (Haraldsen) var fra Tjømø.

• Lagertha Moe
• . Bestemor Lagertha hadde vært og besøkt henne endel. Hun var hennes kusine og venninne. Bestemors mamma, Laura, kom også fra Tjømø.

Vår første slektning som bodde på Søndre Sundane het Tolv. Men man visste ikke hvor han kom fra.

Hans svigerdatter het Gunhild Hansdatter og kom fra Nordre Sundane

• Moren hennes het Helge Tolvsen (1624-1705) og kom fra Haughem, Sandar, sto det.
• Sandar er en tidligere kommune i Vestfold. Den har også hatt navnet Sandeherred. Kommunen er nå slått sammen med Sandefjord.
• Moren hennes het Mari Aakesen. Jeg ble meget overrasket da jeg leste at hennes far, Tolv Mikkelsen, stammet fra Torleiv Breiskjegg (1150-1191) som påsto at han var sønn av kong Øystein. Derifra var ikke vegen lang til ynglinge-ætten og kongshaugene i Uppsala.
• For noen måneder siden hadde jeg tenkt å forbedre det jeg hadde skrevet om våre konglige aner. DE VAR FORSVUNNET! Hos en slektsgransker stoppet navnerekka ved Helges bestefar Mikkel Haughem (ca 1548 - 1625).
• en annen slektsgransker hadde følgende opplysninger om Helge(a)'s forfedre:
• Far: nr. 2466 Tolv Mikkelsen Kiste, Botne, Steinsholt Sandar, død ca 1660.
• Mor: nr. 2467 Mari Åkesdatter, død 1675

For å finne Tolv Mikkelsens far, slo jeg opp på nr.4932.

• Der fant jeg: Mikkel Olsen Kiste, Botne som døde ca 1632.

• På nr.4933 fant jeg hans kone: Gjertrud Trondsdatter, Kiste, Botne. På nr.9864 fant jeg ingen ting.
• Våre 2 dråper med blått blod forsvant fort.
• Familien Kiste lever i beste velgående. NYE OPPDRAG I KENYA I hope you had a good chrismas wherever you celebrated and that jesus was born in your hear too. we had a good time as a family.we celebrated in our base.we had a good time with few staff who didnt travel home.most staff and students visited their families.

we are doing fine as a family.god has been good to us now that we are say bye to year 2008.it was a challenging year for us but god has seen as through .we are happy that its the year that god blessed us with a baby boy.he is loving and happy boy. will be 4moths next month on 10th.he weight 9kg. we are glad that god has protected him. he is overweight but the doctor said coz he is only breast feeding he is fine,ive attached Ray recent photo..elinor doing fine and busy with dts finances and ray. the students are well.

• we are now preparing for our outreach.we had amazing dts speakers and gos used them to minister to our lives.we are now set to go our and share with peope the love of our god.we shall be leaving the base on 5th january we shall be back on feb and graduate on 20th february.
• we shall be a team of 22 pple.we have 17 students and four staff. we are doing diffeent ministries during this outreach.we shall spend more time in riftvalley part of kenya.this is where many pple lost lives during last year post election chrisis. a church was burnt and many kids and women died inside.many people are still in refuge camps. we are working with refuge camps for two weeks.we are hoping to help in reconciliation. there is still enemity between tribes,.
• also we are working with unreached pple group called ongiek. they live in forest.the community only relies on fruits and honey from the forest. they are having many challeges in recent times as the government is taking measures to preserve the forest by evacuating people who live in forest.we shall also be visiting schools and hospitals.
• keep praying that god will be with us as we reach out to people.outreach has challeges pray that we shall always remain united as a team.most lifestyles are challeging,no clean water.we pray that god will keep us healthy.
• As a family we thank god for his grace upon our lives.pray that next year will be less challeging no diseases in our families and that if they come his grace will be sufficient.
• that god will provide the finances for our upkeep in missions.that we shall be able to pay our staff fee and other basic needs.
